Tell us about yourself?

My name is Rosemary Nabukwasi, I Hold A Bachelors Degree of Tourism from Makerere University , I have worked in several tours and travel companies and gained experience over 6 years in the tourism business, my interest in this line of work is because I am passionate about wildlife and the natural environment, I felt the need to support girl children to be in school through tours and travel, having come from a poor background I understand the difficulty in achieving education without needs. in order to achieve this there was only one way I introduce a tour and travel company and on each booking we give back to the community through funding young teenage girls to keep in school.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

I would strongly advise my self to be self motivated and continue cherishing and loving wildlife.

What problem does your business solve?

we strive to promote girlchild education in Rural areas through Tours and travel.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

Having come from a humble background what majorly inspired are the young teenage girls in school who lack utilities to use, I decided to have an impact and improve the community that I live in through giving a percentage on each booking I make to keep her in school.

What is your magic sauce?

As a responsible tours and travel we feel its our responsibility to give back to the community. we do the Tours and travel with a cause, on each booking we give back to girlchildren in Rural schools to keep up with their education, this eradicates early teenage pregnancies’, early marriages and a better community.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

In the Next fie years we will increase our scope and not only focus on the girlchild but also the community that they stay in like providing safe drinking water(Boreholes). we will also partner with other companies to improve the livelihood of people through health, support startup businesses which will help create Jobs for the community members.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

Given the fact that we are a startup business, as we just were starting we were hit by the Covid 19 pandemic which really lead to very low or no sales, this made us not to full fill the aid to the community as we had earlier planned.

Most of girl children were forced into early marriages during the pandemic and hence creating a big gap to bring back these children to get back to school.

How do people get involved/buy into your vision?

we would want people to get involved in this campaign by booking tours to the destinations that we offer to full fill the motive to support the girlchild.
