I worked for years as an auditor at EY, and I saw how challenging and time-consuming it was for the companies – especially the tech companies – to get SOC 2 compliant or ISO 27001 compliant. I wanted to make the process easier and faster so these startup founders and CTOs could focus on building their products and growing their companies instead of collecting screenshots for months to prepare for their audit.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
If I could go back in time, I would advise myself to invest even more in understanding the diverse compliance challenges faced by different industries and geographies, as this insight is invaluable in developing a platform that truly meets the needs of a wide range of customers.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
Over the next five years, we aim to establish Scytale as a market leader in compliance automation for security & privacy, expanding our customer base globally while continuously innovating our platform to stay ahead of evolving compliance standards, requirements and technologies. Our goal is to simplify compliance management for businesses of all sizes, allowing them to focus on their core operations with the assurance that they are in full compliance 24/7.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
The biggest challenge has been keeping pace with the rapidly changing compliance landscape while ensuring our platform remains user-friendly and accessible. Adaptation to new regulations and standards required us to adjust our development roadmap, sometimes on short notice, which taught us the importance of building a flexible and scalable architecture.
How do people get involved/buy into your vision?
We are passionate about what we do.
