Custom Tattoo Design started in January of 2012. At first it was comprised of a $100 website and two people with a dream.

Understanding the market, current founder “Lee Roller” knew there was a huge demand for people looking to have truly custom tattoo designs. With everyone on the internet searching up the same images and similar topics it seemed evident that millions of people were walking around with the same tattoos.

Once Custom Tattoo Design was born Lee and his one and only artist Hana Tesar started putting out amazing pieces of work. In order to solve the issue of originality they decided to sell the copyrights of their designs to the clients.

This is when the company really moved to the next level; everyone had their own custom tattoo that was truly original and unique. As the business started to grow, Lee began to build a team of highly qualified tattoo designers.

In only 6 short months the company was producing over 100 fully custom designs per month. In early 2013 Lee decided to take the business on the hit T.V show Dragons Den eager to partner with one or multiple investors to grow Custom Tattoo Design.

A successful pitch turned into a deal with Jim Treliving (Owner of Boston Pizza) and Bruce Croxon (Creator of Lavalife) as partners in the company. Currently Custom Tattoo Design has over 200 full time employees including some of the world’s best tattoo artist.
