Tell us about yourself?
I’m Kaysar Daou, a passionate Graphic Designer, Illustrator, Concept Artist, Animator, Video Editor, and Visual Compositor based in Lebanon. I wear multiple hats in the creative realm, and I’m also the Co-Founder & Creative Director of Leoceros, a dynamic and multi-disciplinary creative agency.
My journey into this line of work has been nothing short of thrilling. I have always been captivated by the power of visual storytelling and its ability to communicate ideas across different mediums. Witnessing the transformative impact of art and design on businesses and organizations, I knew this was my calling.
I specialize in collaborating with a diverse range of clients, including corporates, NGOs, and SMEs, to enhance their digital presence and bring their visions to life. It’s a fulfilling experience to work on projects that make a positive impact in the world.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to breathe life into numerous successful projects for esteemed regional and international NGOs, corporations, and small businesses. It’s been an exhilarating journey, collaborating with reputable organizations and witnessing the impact of our work.
Beyond designing, I’ve developed a strong enthusiasm for digital marketing and SEO optimization. I firmly believe that combining creativity with effective marketing strategies can truly elevate brands and make a lasting impression on audiences.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
My advise to myself would be to prioritize self-care as well as maintain a healthy work-life balance. As a creative professional, it’s easy to become overwhelmed by the multitude of projects and deadlines, often disregarding personal well-being.
I would remind myself to take pauses, partake in creative outlets, and draw boundaries between my personal and professional lives. Avoiding burnout is essential, as is cultivating a workflow that supports both productivity and rest.
Also, I would emphasize the importance of building a strong support network, both personally and professionally. It is vital to surround oneself with like-minded peers and mentors who can provide guidance, motivation, and critique.
Lastly, I would remind myself to celebrate every achievement, big or small, and to never lose sight of the passion and drive that led me to this career path.

What is the inspiration behind your business?
The inspiration behind Leoceros stems from a combination of factors, including the Covid-19 pandemic and our collective desire to create a positive impact on the community. During the period of isolation brought on by the pandemic, we realized the potential of utilizing our skills and experience in the NGO field to contribute to the greater good.
As a group of like-minded creative individuals, we came together and saw an opportunity to leverage our expertise in digital solutions to address the challenges faced by businesses and non-profit organizations. We recognized the need for effective digital transformations, especially during a time when online presence and communication became vital.
Our goal is not only to satisfy our partners but to make a tangible difference in the community. By providing comprehensive and innovative digital services, we aim to help businesses and non-profit organizations effectively communicate their message, reach their target audience, and achieve their objectives.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
One of the biggest challenges we’ve faced so far is adapting to the dynamic and ever-changing nature of the digital industry. As technology continues to evolve rapidly, we must constantly stay ahead of the curve to offer cutting-edge solutions to our clients.
We have had to change course at times to keep up with emerging trends and technologies. This meant investing in continuous learning and skill development to ensure we remain proficient in the latest tools and techniques.
Also, another challenge we’ve encountered is the increasing competition in the digital services market. To stand out and provide value to our clients, we have had to differentiate ourselves by focusing on personalized and creative solutions tailored to each client’s specific needs.
